WOW! This game rocks. Aside from some adult language and weird religious dialogue this game rocks. I've been playing ALLLLL Day!

Listen, God’s Way

A reoccurring theme in my life is listening. I’m sure I’ve written about this topic before but it’s worth repeating, because sometimes we aren’t listening . I have many personal experiences about not listening. I’m sure you do as well. One such instance of me not listening was when I left my dad’s tools out in the back yard ( not the first or the last time ). My dad had a bunch of tools for just about any job and I liked to take stuff apart and fix stuff. I asked if I could have the key to his tools and he gladly gave me the key and said be sure to put everything back when you’re done. So I remember helping fix my friend’s bike and after we got it working, we rode off. I forget to put my dad’s tools back where they belonged. Out of Control

This week I’ve had the subject of control on my mind. You might know someone who is a control freak. They wont let anyone help or contribute because they fear it wont be just right or they think they can do it better than anyone else. I will admit, I’m a control freak. Most of my life I’ve criticized others for how things have been done or not done. In the back of my mind I’m thinking I could do it better. This might be some genetic trait or it could be how I was raised, I’m not sure. I do remember as a child my father saying “If you want it done right, Do it yourself”. Maybe you have heard that phrase before. Most of my life I just did it myself. Whatever it was that was most important to me. It was almost impossible for my to give control over to someone else.
