Office Transformation

The work is underway . Here are a few photo's of the color I'm adding to my office.

The block walls are very poruos and they are quite difficult to paint but it will totally be worth it when the room is complete. I love how it looks. I have creative idea on how I'm going to hang art in the room but I wont spoil it. Keep coming back for more pics.

Biggest Loser

After having my photo in the paper about a week ago many have approached me to let me know they saw the article. Kirsten and I joined a First Place faith based bible study and weight loss group. Since most people know that we are doing this I have decided to post my weigh in results. The first week I lost 6 lbs and the second week I lost 9 more lbs. I know the results will taper off but it sure feels good to have such a big weight loss.

Vroom Vroom Game

The other day I turned on the "vroom vroom game" Trackmania United and it said something to me. It asked if it could upgrade my game the the forever version. I said yes. Have you ever had a game that you played so much it lost the fun factor? Well my son love to play this game with me daily. I was getting board with it, until the upgrade to Trackmania united forever. The upgrade basically gave me a new game. It's lot of fun racing new tracks and it even has a cool 3-D mode that my son likes. He puts on his 3-d glasses and plays along with me. Fun stuff.

Facebook & the Jounal Standard

Seems like if you want anyone and everyone to know something you should put it in the newspaper. I need to advertise my Helix youth ministry in that thing. I don't read the newspaper, maybe I should. I've added a couple of new former students to my facebook account. Looks like I may need to transition from myspace to facebook.

Marshmallow Shooters

I picked up some 1/2 inch PVC tubing and some fittings. I made a marshmallow shooter with my kids this morning. It works awesome. The shooter fires little marshmallows using lung power. It looks like this.

Cost $2.00

I've been getting back into the groove of work at the church. I'll spend the rest of the week trying to get caught up on everything a haven't done while on vacation. I haven't blogged in a few days and felt the urge to share why. I've been too busy. But today is my day off so I'm posting a few new entries.

Bulletin Board Lighting

It's like the heavens opened and rays of Divine light bathed my bulletin boards. As I flipped the light switch I heard the angels singing Hallelujah. I've been waiting for a long time to see my bulletin boards lit up and they look great. I'm so excited. Thank you to everyone who got this project completed. I truely appreciate all the hard work. I love it.
