Consumed by the Call

This is going to be my new TV once my wife agrees. It might be awhile.

My review so far. It's an expensive toy. I nice shiny power hungry toy. This toy has some awesome games that play beautifully on my HDTV. Absolutely stunning graphics. This toy also doubles as a Blue-Ray player. I love it. I have Gran Turismo and it is quite fun and the graphics are so lifelike. I also tried GRID and it too is so much fun. I compared it to my PC version and I really didn't like it on the PC. On the PC the steering was hideous. I couldn't get around the track. On the PS3 it worked awesome I totally enjoyed it. My PC gaming days are over. I love the PS3 and I look forward to them developing an adapter so I can use my Logitec Harmony One with it.

I really enjoy Tazo's Zen tea. I drink 2 or 3 cups a day. I also enjoy most brands of Earl Grey.This one is imported from Sri Lanka. It is 100% Pure Ceylon Organic Tea with organic flavour of Bergamot. It is very hard to find and I'm out, so if you see it get me some please.

I'd love to be able to keep my tea warm. I'm not sure about being tethered to my computer though.

So I'm in the process of figuring out how to use Dreamweaver CS3. I had been using Frontpage but it is now totally out of touch with the functions available in todays web design applications. I've had frontpage make some really odd code that refused to work in anything other than IE. It's time to make the leap but it's going to be quite a learning curve. I got my first reference today.

So we have been part of the first place weight loss program foe 6 weeks now and I have lost 27.4lbs to date. I'm really excited about my progress on this program. Kirsten and I are enjoying our fresh fruit and produce. We will be frequenting the farmers market here in Freeport and can't wait to see what they have available.

After many successful weeks of dieting and a consistent back ache I've been feeling better this week. Today I got on the elliptical and my back isn't soar at all. Let pray that it stays that way.

This week I set up a mixer board in the youth lounge. Now the kids can connect microphones and distribute sound throughout the north wing. I'll be installing the speakers this week. I'm hoping some of the kids will see how much fun it can be. I know one of the students has already expressed an interest and I look forward to teaching them how the equipment works. My goal is to build a youth Audio/Visual team.

So for the past few days I've been working on my lawn mower. It ran once this season but I haven't been able to start it since then. I had to take it apart this afternoon and make sure everything was connected properly. Well it was. I put it all back together and told my wife I couldn't fix it. I gave it a pull just for emphasis on my lack of motor repair skills and guess what happened. IT STARTED!!!! Sweet!

The theme for the Sr. High Lock-in has been announced. Starting June 1st we will begin talking about dates for this overnighter. I can't wait to start planning this event. Do you have any crime ideas we can stage in the church? Let me know. This will be one of our best lock-in concepts since The Amazing Race.

We finished painting and it looks awesome.

This blaster will be out this fall and I will get one. Can't wait.
